About the role
Alpha Car Hire is seeking a Customer Experience Representative and a Vehicle Cleaner to fill our casual opportunities at our fast-paced Tweed Heads branch. You will be responsible for attending to customers hire vehicle requirements ensuring our customers receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, or recommend. The available roles will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster within the branch operating hours of Monday to Sunday 5am to 9pm.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating their needs
- Opening and closing rental agreements
- Selling additional over the counter rental products
- Managing reservations
- Checking for and recording vehicle damage and maintenance checks
- Cleaning and presenting passenger and commercial vehicles
- Movement of vehicles throughout the location and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs or other location as required
- Operating the Customer shuttle service in a safe and professional manner while ensuring it is maintained to a clean and safe standard
- Ensuring compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively
- General branch cleaning duties

About you
- Excellent communication skills and a positive ‘Can do’ attitude
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Strong problem solving and complaint handling skills
- Ability to work both unsupervised and within a team
- Ability to multi-task and be highly organised with strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong track record of punctuality and attendance
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
- To have own reliable transport to and from the branch.
- Willingness to travel and work between locations
- A full and current relevant State driver’s licence
- Experience, although preferred, is not essential
