As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of accounting tasks. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to real-world accounting scenarios, helping you develop the skills needed to excel in your accounting career.Working hours for the role(s) vary between 3 to 5 days a week, depending on the department. <li>Participate in SMSF audits</li>
<li>Assist in conducting financial statement reviews and verification procedures.</li>
<li>Collaborate with senior auditors to analyse financial data and assess internal controls.</li>
<li>Help prepare comprehensive audit reports and recommendations for clients.</li>
</ul>Business Services Department<ul>
<li>Assist in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to provide valuable insights into clients' financial performance.</li>
<li>Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve clients' financial efficiency.</li>
<li>Gain exposure to various accounting software and tools used in business service</li>

By understanding our client's systems, objectives, risks, control frameworks and regulatory environments you will assist AFS in delivering a valuable product to improve the client's risk profile.The roleAs a Senior Risk Consultant key responsibilities include:<ul>
<li>Participating in the development of risk-based internal audit plans.</li>
<li>Executing internal audit procedures and ensuring the successful delivery of internal audit projects, within defined scope, timeframe and budget.</li>
<li>Participating in the planning &amp; scoping of internal audit projects.</li>
<li>Providing guidance and support to risk consultants, offering advice on internal audit methodologies, techniques, and best practice.</li>
<li>Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure internal audit activities align with client goals and priorities.</li>
<li>Preparing internal audit reports, including findings, risk, root cause and recommendations, supporting the communication of results to key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Contributing to and supporting risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk.</li>
<li>Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders and providing guidance on risk management and control related matters to clients.</li>
</ul>About youThe successful candidate will have:<ul>
<li>Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, process improvement and governance practices.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with individuals across all levels of an organisation.</li>
<li>Extensive experience writing reports, observations and communicating results &amp; recommendations to varied audiences.</li>
<li>The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients and key stakeholders.</li>

<li>An Accounting degree or financial background (is desirable, but not essential). </li>
