You will have the overall responsibility of maintaining relationships and communications with our foundation developers, building and facility managers in our communities, with public utilities (such as Sydney Water or Hunter Water), and Local Government Councils. As Asset Planner, you will act as our Contract Administrator for the Project Delivery Agreements (PDAs) providing the planning, forecasting and budgeting requirements based on our connection rates. With in-depth knowledge of our water schemes, you’ll be able to track Equivalent Tenements (ETs) versus our design capacity and actuals, ensuring scheme capacity is not exceeded.Core Responsibilities <ul>
<li>Planning and scheduling the requirements for Local Water Centre, Network and other upgrades/integrations based on PDAs initiated triggers, including the liaison work with Finance to ensure funding and cash flow models incorporate these requirements.</li>
<li>Working with our Network Engineering team and Water Quality team, you will be responsible for all Licensing and approvals - EPA, IPART, Council etc for the schemes, ensuring appropriate applications are lodged on time and fees are included in budget forecasts.</li>
<li>Reviewing retic connection applications and designs from Construction Developers for suitability and issue appropriate permits/approvals.</li>
<li>Create, update or review/approve business documents required including policies, plans and procedures. </li>
</ul>Skills &amp; Experience You will have:<ul>
<li>Engineering or construction management qualifications and/or 10 or more years of relevant industry experience, </li>
<li>Experience within the water, utilities, or construction industry</li>
<li>Significant experience in reading and interpreting contracts and the administration of same</li>
<li>Working knowledge of state government, council and Regulatory bodies and the relevant approval processes would be desirable</li>
<li>Preferably have experiences with Green or Brown field project management</li>

You will work as part of team, operating and maintaining our Water Treatment plants based in the Sydney CBD and North West Sydney. All of the sites operate recycled water treatment plants sourced from sewage. Our CBD sites are what we call vertical communities with treatment plants located in the basement of high rise buildings and our North West Sydney plants are located within the community in new housing development areas.In addition to the treatment plants, you will manage the sewerage and recycled water networks and, in some cases, the drinking water network as well. Core Responsibilities  <ul>
<li>Operate and maintain Local Water Centres, water distribution and sewerage networks </li>
<li>Interact with, operate, and respond to control and monitoring systems including field devices, programmable logic controllers and SCADA systems </li>
<li>Review and analyse results (laboratory and plant analysers) to ensure compliance and conduct process adjustments </li>
<li>Carry out and document preventive and breakdown maintenance on processes and equipment using relevant tools, processes, and systems </li>
<li>Work within a one in three on call roster</li>
<li>Provide support as we expand our schemes and bring new treatment plants and networks online </li>
</ul>Skills &amp; Experience  <ul>
<li>You will have either tertiary trade qualifications (Cert III in Water Operations), or be a four-year degree Engineer with operating experience, </li>
<li>You will have worked in sewage treatment plants with either drinking water or high-quality water outputs, </li>
<li>Experience in operating reverse osmosis (RO) membranes is a plus. </li>
<li>You flourish in an environment where you are responsible for day-to-day operations and decision making whilst still knowing you have the expertise and a safe pair of hands to call on when needed. You are adept with time management and prioritising your workload and work site. Some days you might need to be going back and forth between the sites, which of course means you will need a driver’s licence and having required vaccinations, including any recommended boosters.</li>

Water Scheme Operator

We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager administrator to maintain client accounts, serve as our main point of contact and assist with reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. Working within our Customer Operations team, the Collections Support Officer is responsible for making and receiving outbound/ inbound calls, accurately maintaining customer accounts, and having exposure to the end to end customer process.
