The RoleDue to the nature of this role we would be looking for someone with a legal background.We are looking for someone to fill either a full time role or part time 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.The role of Case Manager exists to provide claims and investigation management as well as advisory services to members of MDA National.The role’s key function is the technical management of all aspects of the claims process from notification through to resolution. The role is supported in this regard by a case management system, which provides the tracking, monitoring and reporting elements of the cases, allowing the Case Manager to exercise his or her expertise.Reporting directly to the Manager, Cases &amp; Investigations, this role will include (but not be limited to) the following:<ul>
<li>Management of litigated and un-litigated claims</li>
<li>Participation on the in-hours and after-hours medico-legal phone roster</li>
<li>Provision of advice on a wide range of issues including privacy, mandatory reporting, fitness to drive, open disclosure, and terminating therapeutic relationships</li>
<li>Drafting Coronial and Police statements and reports</li>
<li>Preparing responses and submissions on behalf of Members to Health Complaint Entities </li>
<li>Assisting Members with health, disciplinary and performance matters</li>
<li>Advising and assisting Members with Medicare audits and investigations</li>
<li>Instructing external Solicitors as necessary in litigated claims, Coronial inquests, investigations, employment and College disputes</li>

The RoleThe primary objective of the role is to support the successful implementation and delivery of the Duckcreek Software Solution for MDA National. As part of this overarching objective, the successful candidate may need to support the effective deployment of related software projects within the Connect Program (The Program). The role will include work with other Project teams within the Program, key ‘Business’ and Technology stakeholders and external vendors to design and set up necessary environments and technical integrations.Key Deliverables and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the ‘Technical Components’ of the Core Insurance project, and will include:<ul>
<li>The creation and establishment of the approved ‘MDA Duck Creek environment’ as per the approved future state Technical Solution Design,</li>
<li>Coordinating the ‘End to End’ testing of functional and non- functional integrations. This effort will encompass working directly with external vendors to monitor and oversee Integration build and how and when to test them,</li>

<li>Creating Project environments for Renewal, Data Migration, Penetration and Performance testing,</li>
<li>Assisting in the procurement of Vendors and coordination of key activities such as the security review, Renewal, Data Migration, Penetration and Performance testing, </li>
<li>Assisting with Data Migration and other Project implementation activities.</li>
<li>Supporting other technical Project activities such as risk management, Disaster Recovery testing, environment and code management, and implementation readiness.</li>
</ul>In addition to these, they will oversee the technical aspects of the Project and work closely with the MDA Senior Solution Architect to support architectural and design decisions, guiding team members in technical matters, and supervising system modifications.The successful candidate will be expected to mediate between stakeholders and technical teams throughout all stages of product development, offering business context and insights, providing clear and consistent advice, working through plans and requirements effectively.While these responsibilities have a focus on the Core Insurance Project, it is highly likely that they will need to support the technical implementation of other software deployment that may be on the critical path for the Core Insurance project. Skills, Experience and QualificationsEssential<ul>
<li>10 plus years of experience working in IT operations and projects</li>
<li>Knowledge of data migration, data cleaning, analysis and visualization</li>
<li>Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies</li>
<li>Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems</li>

The RoleDuration: Initial 9-month contract with possiblility of extension.As Senior Test Analyst at MDA National, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software being developed as part of the Connect Program. You will support the design, preparation, execution, and reporting of testing across various phases. Additionally, you will contribute to identifying inefficiencies in testing and improving overall quality outcomes, ensuring that testing is effective and efficient.Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Perform testing across all test phases (e.g. system, integration, regression, non-functional, etc) utilising best-practice testing and quality engineering principles;</li>
<li>Perform testing processes across the delivery lifecycle, including test case preparation, test execution, extracting metrics for reporting, defect triaging, and identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks in testing processes;</li>
<li>Ensure best-practice testing and quality engineering processes are followed, highlighting risks and inefficiencies, to ensure delivery of robust and reliable software;</li>
<li>Participate in defect management processes, including identifying, documenting issue steps and supporting triaging activities;</li>
<li>Analyse and report test results, and take ownership of quality for relevant business stream;</li>
<li>Identify and actively manage testing risks and mitigation strategies;</li>
<li>Support Test Manager with test planning activities, including development of strategy, scope, resourcing, scheduling, and deliverables;</li>
<li>Actively participate and be hands-on in all aspects of testing, demonstrating a willingness to dive into tasks as needed to ensure successful execution.</li>

<li>Ability to extract test permutations from requirements, design test partitions, compile testing arefacts, and adhere to best-practice quality methodologies;</li>
