WildBear is seeking an Associate Producer (AP) to work closely with one of our Executive Producers (EP) on an exciting portfolio of factual projects for the global market. The AP will work through all stages from development to production supporting the EP across creative, business and administrative aspects of their portfolio. The AP will have industry experience, a can do attitude and be confident to collaborate equally with internal and external stakeholders. The role is ideally Canberra based however there is an option to work at any of the Wildbear offices. Remote applicants are welcome to apply as long as they reside in Australia and are willing to commit to some limited travel to a WildBear office.This opportunity is well suited to an individual looking to build their career by working across an exciting slate in a fast paced environment. The position is offered as an initial 12 month contract with a view to an ongoing position.The role will include:<ul>
<li>Creating or overseeing the creation of development materials including research, writing, artwork, and sizzles</li>
<li>Coordination of development shoots and management of development budgets </li>
<li>Preparation and administration of funding submissions and financing documentation along with the WildBear Development team.</li>
<li>Assisting in adherence to funding deadlines and deliverables </li>
<li>Collaboration with the WildBear production, development, legal and corporate teams to ensure all activities are aligned with Company strategy and processes.</li>
<li>Assisting in managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders including setting up meetings and supporting the EPs travel arrangements and stakeholder management</li>
</ul>You will have:<ul>
<li>An understanding of the television production process</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>High level organisational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise, time manage with an attention to detail. </li>
<li>Broad demonstrated computer skills including experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.</li>
<li>A background in natural history or science television will be an advantage but not essential</li>

Associate Producer

We are looking for EOI for Assistant Editors - either experienced candidates, or people looking to upskill and step into the role. Assistant Editors are responsible for providing valuable support to our Offline Editors and supporting the wider Post Production team, based in our Canberra office.You will be working closely with Directors, Production Managers, Offline Editors, and other members of our Sound &amp; Picture Finishing team in order to create broadcast ready programs for our clients.It is a highly technical and creative role, and you will need to engage with all aspects of Post Production, as well as the narrative arc and visual aesthetic of the program. Experience in Offline Edit and Post workflows, general project management and leadership skills will be considered an advantage.Please note this is an ACT based opportunity so candidates will need to work out of our Canberra office. <li>Able to complete all assigned production tasks, including but not limited to footage research, clip logging, subclipping, preparing projects for editors, sequence assembly and assemble editing, conform, assemble edits, rough-cuts, fine cuts &amp; picture lock editing.</li>
<li>Must be able to run screenings to directors or clients and communicate well</li>
<li>Will contribute creatively to the production process.</li>
<li>Will exercise good personal time management and communication skills.</li>
<li>Will contribute to and learn from general Wildbear Entertainment edit, creative and technical communities.</li>
<li>Will work within budget and schedule constraints to complete work to an excellent level.</li>

Assistant Editors

We are looking for EOI from Offline Editors with experience in broadcast TV editing.Offline Editors are responsible for crafting the narrative of our longform documentary programs. You will be working closely with Directors, Production Managers and Assistant Editors to ultimately create the full episode of broadcast TV at the offline edit stage. There will be a need to engage with all aspects of the story, as well as the visual grammar and edit aesthetic of the film.Strong preference will be given to candidates who are prepared to work out of our Canberra office, although we will consider candidates from a remote work environment.
