You will work on a full-time basis to process accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll for 200+ staff. Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:<ul>
<li>Well-developed communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain professional reciprocal relationships with suppliers and debtors</li>
<li>Ability to manage workload to ensure you meet deadlines and utilise time efficiently to respond to conflicting priorities</li>
<li>Attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely data entry into finance software systems</li>
<li>Capacity to apply analytical and critical thinking skills across a range of finance related work activities</li>
<li>Experience interpreting and applying industrial award instruments to ensure all payroll practices meet business and legislative requirements</li>
<li>Ability to liaise with staff across the organisation with relation to payroll enquiries, and advice and assistance of financial legislation, policies and standards</li>
</ul> What you need:<ul>
<li>Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role</li>
<li>Financial and administrative experience requiring high level of accountability to financial and legal standards</li>
<li>High level computer skills including proficiency with all aspects of MS Office Suite and corporate software systems</li>
<li>Experience with accounting and payroll software – KeyPay and Sage preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to the not-for-profit/disability sector</li>
<li>Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence</li>
<li>Ability to acquire a Working with Children check (blue card) and NDIS Worker Screening check (yellow card) prior to commencing</li>

Prior experience managing remote teams would be an advantage in this position as this will help you support Service Users to achieve their goals. Your ability to understand our Service Users and effectively communicate the supports HSA can offer to meet identified goals will see you succeed in this role.We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the rights of people with a disability and working collaboratively with mutual trust and respect. You will need to have effective problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to schedule your work to meet deadlines in a busy environment. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.In this role you will:<ul>
<li>Build, develop and maintain working and supportive relationships with Service Users and their stakeholders to ensure optimum outcomes</li>
<li>Develop, review and update Individual Support Plans and Risk Management Plans in consultation with Service Users and their stakeholders to ensure optimum outcomes</li>
<li>Exercise your initiative to manage and plan your workload to ensure you meet individual, team and organisational goals</li>
<li>Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in relation to planned work loads and commitments and develop strategies to manage conflicting deadlines</li>
</ul>Our ideal candidate will have:<ul>
<li>Proven ability to work effectively within a team, establish work priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead staff</li>
<li>High level of computer skills including sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite and corporate software systems</li>
<li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality in dealing with a variety of staff, external agencies and service users and their families and/or guardians</li>
