We are looking for a reliable team member to join UBS as Claim Coordinator, beining the first point of contact for customers during insurable and catastrophic events.UBS have been in the insurance building repairs industry for over 25 years and offer long-term job security as one of the preferred partners to several of Australia's largest and most reputable insurance companies.About the Role<ul>
<li>You will be coordinating claims for building insurance repair and restoration projects</li>
<li>Process new claims, schedule estimators. </li>
<li>Arrange and schedule specialist reports. </li>
<li>Coordinate makesafes and emergency repairs. </li>
<li>Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls relating to claims. </li>
<li>Unertake administration tasks related to the claim.</li>
<li>Regular contact with homeowners, insurance companies, building assessors and trades.</li>
<li>This is a permanent position full time position, Monday - Friday on site at Carrum Downs.</li>
<li>The starting salary on offer is $65,000 + 11% superannuation (dependant on experience).</li>
</ul>About You<ul>
<li>Prior claims coordination and scheduling experience with another insurance builder (desirable)</li>
<li>Makesafe coordination experience (desirable)</li>
<li>Previous administration experience within a building or insurance company.</li>
<li>Ability to stay level-headed and focused during peak periods.</li>
<li>Organised and tech savvy with the ability to record accurate notes in internal and external systems.</li>
<li>Ability and interest to commit to the role long term.</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen and be empathetic.</li>
<li>Ability to interact with homeowners going through a difficult period dealing with damage to their properties.</li>
