We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team.The Role:A full-time position is available for an experienced Quality Control Technician, working daytime hours, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate, after having undertaken relevant training to independently perform your duties, will be responsible for execution of daily activities of the quality control lab and supporting business activities. You will have excellent attention to detail, a positive “can do” attitude and a strong work ethic. Duties include:•	Performing routine inspection and testing of consumables, raw materials, in-process intermediates, and finished products•	Packing and dispatch of biological samples and final products•	Monitoring the efficacy of contamination control measures including performance of environmental monitoring•	Maintenance and calibration of QC facilities and equipment•	Preparation of records and reports•	Execution of protocols and procedures relevant to QC•	Participate in process improvement activitiesSkills and experience of the successful candidate will includeEssential•	Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in a busy laboratory•	Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and sound communication skills•	Willingness to take on tasks needed to support the organisation•	Proficient in the use of Microsoft software•	Full working rights in AustraliaDesirable•	Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a medically oriented laboratory •	Understanding of therapeutic goods manufacture and relevant regulatory guidelines (ISO, PIC/s, TGA, FDA)•	Experience with PCR will be highly regardedTo apply for this position, please submit your CV along with a covering letter that describes how your skills and experience meet the responsibility and requirements of this position.
