We are fortunate to work with a number of energy market participants across their general commercial needs and in delivering project transactions. These projects include wind, solar, battery, transmission (including landholder engagement projects). This role falls within our Corporate + Commercial practice group.This role will have two parts to it and the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:•	Energy Ad hoc + Law Squared as a Service (LSaaS): acting for clients in the energy space across a range of their commercial needs including (but not limited to):-	renewable power purchase agreements;-	corporate power purchase agreements;-	renewable electricity retail contracts; and-	transmission and connection agreements•	Energy Transition Projects: assisting and working on energy transition projects such as:-	renewable energy zone projects-	private energy infrastructure projects-	and transmission projects including landholder engagement projectsAbout youThe ideal candidate:We are looking for an Energy + Projects lawyer ready to join an innovative and compelling alternative to the traditional firm. The ideal candidate will:•	Have 5+PQE;•	Have previous experience as an in-house lawyer for an energy market participant or law firm experience acting for energy companies;•	Have great attention to detail;•	Have strong communication skills (both verbal and written); and•	Have the ability to engage effectively with clients.Lawyers at Law Squared act in an autonomous yet collaborative way. Unlike the traditional law firm, we do not have a hierarchical or leverage model and therefore our teams are expected to be confident in having a first go, while always being supported by their team.
