Our core focus is on developing innovative, high-impact technologies that drive positive outcomes for both the environment and energy systems worldwide.The RoleWe are seeking a passionate Intermediate or Senior Software Engineer to help lead the design, development, and deployment of our software platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of software engineers, as well as engage with external stakeholders.Your work will directly influence EnergyFlex’s ability to provide solutions for market segments ranging from large industrials to entire communities. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you’ll help shape strategic decisions and contribute to our technical roadmap.Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Build and maintain front-end components using Next.js (or similar React frameworks), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.</li>
<li>Create and maintain GraphQL (code-first with Pothos) and/or REST APIs, and design robust data schemas/models in Postgres using Prisma.</li>
<li>Contribute to the expansion and refinement of our backend’s event-driven microservices and real-time data workflows.</li>
<li>Deploy and manage services in AWS (DynamoDB, Step Functions, Lambda) or equivalent cloud platforms, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.</li>
<li>Implement and maintain comprehensive test suites to ensure high-quality software releases.</li>
<li>Work with cross-functional teams to plan new features, document technical solutions, and ensure that development aligns with company goals.</li>
<li>Develop a strong understanding of our products, positioning, and market trends; offer feedback on competitive threats, user needs, and opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Serve as a positive ambassador for Energy Flex in interactions with both internal teams and external stakeholders.</li>
