</ul>About us Silentium Defence is a growing deep tech business shaping the future of Australia’s ground and space surveillance capability. We specialise in the development of passive radar solutions for Defence and civilian customers. But what are passive radar solutions, you ask? Passive radar uses pre-existing sources of radio frequency energy (such as broadcast TV and radio waves), to track objects in an environment. It provides similar information to traditional radar systems but does not emit any RF signals. This means the user can maintain their situational awareness without advertising their presence. In essence, to ‘see without being seen’. Our technology is a game changer for Defence and we’re on a mission to create a new era in surveillance. This means that you will be exposed to other areas of the business, and you will not be siloed into doing one job only.On day one we'll expect you to:<ul>
<li>Have extensive experience in software engineering with a record of accomplishment of delivering complex, high-impact projects</li>
<li>Proficiency in JavaScript and/or C++ along with a deep understanding of software design principles</li>
<li>Experience with Python and/or Cuda would be highly regarded</li>
<li>Interest and experience in the Application and Services domain</li>
<li>A bold and visionary mindset with a willingness to challenge conventional wisdom and explore innovative ideas</li>
<li>Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences</li>
<li>A passion for learning and a commitment to staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry</li>
<li>Lead trial activities in support of business winning and product sales on an as required basis</li>
<li>Australian citizen with the ability of obtaining a security clearance</li>
